Randi R. Brady, DNP, MSN-Ed., RN, CEN
"In both healthcare litigation and advanced nursing education, success depends on one fundamental skill: the ability to examine complex clinical evidence, identify critical details others miss, and translate that data into clear, decisive strategy.”
Nearly Three Decades of Clinical Mastery, Systems Leadership, and Academic Excellence
Dr. Randi Ralynn Brady is a doctorally prepared Registered Nurse, former university faculty member, and the Founder and Lead Consultant at Check the Wall, LLC. Continuously licensed as a Registered Nurse since 1998, Dr. Brady brings nearly 30 years of unbroken clinical, administrative, flight transport, and global telemedicine experience to legal nurse consulting and nursing student coaching.
Holding an active Multistate Compact RN License (eNLC), Dr. Brady provides objective medical record analysis, clinical timeline reconstructions, standard of care evaluations, and regulatory audit support to litigation counsel, dispute resolution teams, and healthcare organizations across the nation.
A Broad Spectrum of Clinical Authority
Unlike consultants whose experience is confined to a single department, Dr. Brady’s nearly three-decade career spans the entire spectrum of acute, emergency, and critical care delivery:
Level 1 Adult & Pediatric Trauma Centers: Direct emergency care and stabilization at high-volume tertiary facilities, including Maricopa Medical Center (Valleywise Health), Banner Desert Medical Center, and Spectrum Health Butterworth / Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.
Regional & Community Emergency Medicine: Extensive leadership and clinical coordination across high-acuity community emergency departments, including Tucson Medical Center (TMC), St. Mary's Hospital, TriStar Skyline, TriStar Southern Hills, and Southern Tennessee Regional Health System (Lifepoint).
Freestanding, Rural & Critical Access Care: Firsthand emergency management and EMTALA compliance experience in resource-limited and rural settings, including Navapache Regional Medical Center, Gila River Health Care (Hu Hu Kam Memorial), and Gilbert Medical Center.
Critical Care Flight Transport & Air Ambulance Operations: Advanced flight nursing, rotor-wing stabilization, and base management with Native Air / Omniflight.
Global Telemedicine & Medical Evacuations: Managing international remote advisory protocols, risk identification, and medical evacuation operations with MedAire.
Stroke Program Leadership & Accreditation: Serving as Stroke Program Coordinator, leading hospital quality teams through successful Joint Commission Stroke Accreditation surveys without major findings.
Doctorate-Level Systems Leadership
Dr. Brady earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Nursing Education, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Grand Canyon University.
Her doctoral training in evidence-based practice, healthcare systems, and quality metrics allows her to evaluate electronic medical records (EMR) not just as isolated charting entries, but through the lens of institutional risk management, hospital protocol compliance, EMTALA regulations, and systemic standards of care.
Bridging Practice & Education: Check the Wall, LLC
In 2024, Dr. Brady established the educational arm of Check the Wall, LLC, drawing on her rich background as a university lecturer at the University of Arizona College of Nursing and clinical education specialist. Through one-on-one academic coaching, NCLEX-RN preparation, and clinical judgment mentoring, she helps pre-licensure and graduate nursing students master complex pathophysiology, pharmacology, and critical decision-making models.
Whether analyzing thousands of pages of dense EMR audit trails for a complex malpractice suit or coaching the next generation of nurse leaders, Dr. Brady is dedicated to precision, clinical integrity, and actionable insight.
